Aisle Runner Information

All runners are completely hand painted.  After the ceremony, brides have used their runners as wall hangings, table runners, quilts, pillows or even as framed artwork!

We will work with you to design a runner to coordinate with your color scheme or your flowers.  We can design a monogram for you, or we can reproduce a
monogram you may already have.

We paint on several different types of runner materials of various quality and price. Below is a list of descriptions of the various types of runner materials.

RUNNER MATERIALS

1.) The first option is a thin, "non-woven" type of runner, but it is thicker than a "craft store" runner. The material is the same as is used for airline pillow cases. They are inexpensive to pack & ship since they are so light in weight. I do not recommend this type of runner if it will be placed on a hard floor. They are best used over a carpeted surface, they are available in 37” or 48” widths, and they come in 5 colors, white, ivory, black, red & blue.

2.) There are also runners made of a non-stretch polyester habutai cloth which is woven in Japan. This fabric is thin and silky and these runners have a definite shine to them. They are 44” wide and come in 66 colors. These runners are also thin and quite light in weight and should be secured with tape, pins chair legs, flower pots, etc. for safety. This would not be the best choice to be placed on a hard floor.

3.) I also offer off-white (unbleached), heavy canvas runners. These are nice if you'd like to cut out the painted section and keep it as a wall hanging, or sew it into a quilt, etc. The weight makes them nice for outdoor ceremonies and to lie on a hard floor. These runners come in widths of 36", 48", 60" and 72".
Canvas runners are also available in pure white, but only come in 58" width.

4.) I also paint on foam backed, non-slip runners. These runners come in only 42" widths, and the top cotton linen fabric is lovely! These runners are certainly the highest quality of fabric. They are ideal if the runner will need to be placed on a hard floor. They also come
in a rainbow of colors.

5.) This type of runner is a high quality, heavy and durable linen fabric, slightly lighter in weight, and much "smoother" than the canvas runners. The quality allows these runners to be cleaned and used over and over. These runners come in widths of 36" and 60". Each runner is made upon order, so they can take up to 8 weeks to arrive here for painting. Please note that the 60" wide runners will not come with a pull bar or cord. They will be far too heavy to roll down the aisle during the ceremony, so they should be placed on the aisle well before guests arrive.

6.)  I also paint on burlap runners.  The burlap is 40" wide before any lace is added to the sides.  I stock white and off-white lace, but I can special order other colors if desired. 

Please measure your aisle carefully. This will assure that your hand painted design will appear exactly where you want it to be when your runner is rolled out.

Basic painting fees are $40.00 per painted foot, with a minimum of 3 feet painted. 

If you want the entire length of your runner to have hand painted flowers, the price will be discounted!

Detailed or elaborate wedding logos will alter pricing.
